On the banks of Lake Thun, and ideal for Interlaken

In Switzerland it’s not only the mountain air that catches your breath - it’s also the parcs like Manor Farm.

Visit and you’ll find that it’s a great base for exploring the local area and rest of Switzerland. Not only will you enjoy free bus, boat and train travel to Interlaken and beyond, but there are smashing walking and cycling opportunities nearby. The parc has direct access to a private lake beach and there’s a range of water sports available nearby. The parc is spread across two halves - divided by a busy road - but don’t worry, there’s an underpass to get you back and forth safely. And as for the scenery, all around you mountain railways climb skywards and cable car rides open up unforgettable Alpine panoramas and spectacular walks.

This is our 18th holiday in Switzerland and our 9th time on Manor Farm. We love everything about Switzerland and really enjoy Eurocamping at Manor Farm. We always drive there. This time there was much more traffic on the journeys between IJmuiden and Interlaken, making for more stress. But once there we felt at home. It's almost like having a 2nd home in our favourite place on earth.
The location of our Avant caravan was a big disappointment. There are 2 such vans with a good view and lots of afternoon and evening sunshine. The other 2 Avant vans face the other way - there is no view and we only got sunshine for 2 to 3 hours in the mornings. I think the pricing should reflect this major difference. The 2 vans with no view should be much cheaper than the 2 with good views. It's what one expects in a hotel. Considering the number of times we have been on Eurocamp holidays (many times since 1978) we thought that we would get a van with a view.

Super park, ride into town on the boat was one of the highlights for us. Accommodation was showing it's age, with damaged seats and other items not fully working, but not enough to spoil things. Main complaint was the bed. The mattress was like a solid block of foam and getting a good nights sleep was impossible. We ended up going out and buying a mattress topper so we did eventually get sorted out. As we drove down then this was not a wasted purchase.
Site is spotless and in a beautiful position on Lake Thun. Marvellous scenery all round and trips up to Lauterbrunnen well worth the time and effort. Still more things to do than we managed so no doubt we will be going back.

The site is in a good location but is looking very tired with a majority of owned accomodation, itself looking very tired.
We are two "empty nest" adults but would say this is not a park for families.
Our mobile home too shows signs of ageing - generally still clean and working the roof lining and the upholstery needs replacing in the main area. We also found the toilet position very odd! Especially as there was no basin meaning that to wash your hands meant a trip through the kitchen. Not a problem if there are only two of you, but it would be very unhygienic if the shower room was occupied...
