Sightseeing

The ancient town of Sessa Aurunca, with its ancient remains of a bridge and amphitheatre is less than 20km from the parc, and is known for its wine production. The historic, catholic city of Naples is definitely worth a visit, for its varying styles of architecture, churches, museums and art galleries. Also in Naples is Magic World, an amusement park with something for all ages.

For a fun-filled day out there is a theme park situated under 50 km away. Magic World is made up of a water park with lots of great chutes and pools, and a theme park with lots of rides and roller coasters. Both parks are child friendly but there are lots of things to please thrill-seeking teens.

Step into you gladiator sandals, imagine yourself aboard a chariot and visit Gaeta – a modern day city with a rich Roman history. Its attractions include a huge 6th century Aragonese-Angevine castle and the imposing mausoleum, as well as lots of churches and cathedrals in a beautiful setting.

It is incredibly popular with holiday goers and locals alike offering something for everyone. The most popular event is the Concerto all'Alba (Dawn Concert) in mid August when the entire town wakes up a 4:30 to watch the sunrise over the bay accompanied by music.

Off Parc Activities

The parc has direct access to a beach which is great for watersports, especially windsurfing. If you want to explore under the sea then there is a scuba diving school 7 km from the parc.

If you want to explore the surrounding area then why not whizz around on a bike or do it in style on horseback: you can hire bikes 200 m away and there are horse riding facilities 15 km from the site. If this gives you a need for speed then you can have a go at go-karting 8 km away.
