Denmark’s most wonderful natural feature is its beaches – you’re never more than 50km from the sea and there’s over 7,000 km of coastline.
Nature in Denmark
Three outstanding beauties allow you to commune with nature. Thy National Park (sounds biblical) lies on the west coast and is the largest. Mols Bjerge, in East Jutland, is a treasure trove of rare animal and plant species. Wadden Sea National Park in West Jutland is a wetland habitat and on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
