In tribute to Cefalu's Patron Saint, the city holds various processions over several days, attracting huge crowds. It culminates on the 6th August when locals scramble along a greased pole to touch a statue of the Saint. 2018 dates to be confirmed.

A gastro event held in the 'Battle Square' - a day of feasting on pasta with garlic, almonds, tomatoes (Pesto Trapanese) and barbequed sausage. Local melon is also served, along with (of course) lots of good wine! The event includes a parade of majorettes with marching bands and culminates with a dance in the Square.
