Camping Holidays in The Netherlands
Open in Spring every year, these world famous gardens are a feast for the senses with over 7 million bulbs in bloom! Spread over 32 hectares the gardens are a great day out for all the family - don't miss the Tulip mania exhibition at the Juliana Pavilion. Children will love the petting farm, maze and playground too. The gardens draw big crowds - if you're looking for a little peace and quiet, it's less busy before 10:30 and after 4pm, when the early morning light and evening sun is perfect for photography.

Events are held throughout The Netherlands to celebrate the king's official birthday. In Amsterdam the city is bursting with orange pride in the biggest street party of the year, with around 750,000 people expected to join in the fun. Most events begin at midday, with the biggest and most popular party venues held in the Westerstraat, Prinsengracht and Reguliersdwarsstraat.
Please note many of Amsterdams major museums and attractions are closed on King's Day.
