The Costa Brava in this area has lovely sandy secluded beaches reminding me of Cornwall with sun! There are some excellent costal walks all of which are signposted. It is hilly in places but this adds to the stunning coastline. Playa D'aro was the nearest town with lots of nice shops and small boutiques. It has plenty of nice restaurants and bars, when we visited in April there where lots of Spanish families enjoying evenings out. We enjoyed visiting Palamos market and other local towns, it was a lovely part of Spain to visit and eating out was very good value. I would definitely return to this area.

Loved the Dali museum in Figueres. Not a huge Dali fan before but the museum is really very interesting and worth a trip.
Beautiful spots along the coast for walks.
