Road Cycling

Looking for something more challenging?

For the keen road cyclist wishing to clock up some European miles why not visit one of our parcs listed below? Handpicked and tested by fellow “roadies”, prepare yourself to take on the mighty Col du Tourmalet set on the doorstep of our parc in the Pyrenées...or will you accept the gruelling challenge of those infamous 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez in the Alps? Tick these off your bucket list and rest assured we have all your needs covered.

Follow Le Tour de France 2020

While the route varies from year to year, our parcs can be found all across France, and will enable you to enjoy some real cycling action. Le Grand Départ in 2020 is from Nice, with the first and second stages starting and finishing in the city. Why not check out our parcs in the Riviera and book your spot now?

Why choose Eurocamp?

Well, for starters you get exactly what you'd expect from a Eurocamp holiday, from any day arrivals, to a wide range of accommodation, and from various activities for all ages to friendly and knowledgeable holiday reps.

Not only that; you also get fantastic locations, perfect for ultimate road cycling action, in France, Spain and Austria.

Bike hire, routes and maps

If you wish to leave your bike at home, we can recommend local bike hire from suppliers local to your parc who offer a choice of high-spec carbon and aluminium bikes.

What's more, you can take advantage of free road cycling maps detailing exciting local routes on selected parcs. Please see your holiday reps on parc for a copy (subject to availability).

Cycling Diaries

The CW4 Wheelers, a road cycling group from Cheshire, took a Eurocamp road cycling holiday and kept a diary of their break.

Have a read about their experiences and the challenges they faced when putting themselves (and their legs) to the test!
