Housekeeping Agreement

By making a booking with Greenbank Holidays Limited trading as Eurocamp, you understand and agree to comply with this Housekeeping Agreement.

This Housekeeping Agreement, together with our Booking Conditions, Privacy Policy, and where your itinerary is booked via our website, our Website Terms of Use, as well as any other written information we brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking, form the basis of your contract with Greenbank Holidays Limited, a company registered in England with company number 01160442 and registered office address of Chelford House, Rudheath Way, Rudheath, Northwich, Cheshire, England, CW9 7LN (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully as they set out our and your respective rights and obligations.

In this Housekeeping Agreement references to "you" and "your" include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is transferred or who is added to a booking. References to “Accommodation” mean the accommodation which is provided as part of your booking.

1. Your Obligations

We take pride in the accommodation we make available to our customers and accordingly we require you to take agreed reasonable action in order to maintain the standard of it. Accordingly, upon leaving the accommodation on the final day of your holiday you agree that you shall:

  1. Check that you have all your belongings.
  2. Empty the fridge and freezer and remove all food from the cupboards.
  3. Remove all rubbish from the accommodation and recycle/dispose of the rubbish using the facilities at the parc.
  4. Wash and dry all kitchenware and replace in the accommodation cupboards.
  5. Clean the accommodation’s barbecue.
  6. Strip beds and pop any hired linen and towels inside a pillowcase and place on the kitchen table.
  7. Wipe over all surfaces including those in the bathroom.

Where you fail to comply with any of your obligations set out above we will have to take action to remedy such failure and accordingly we reserve the right to pass the cost of such action on to you in the form of a Housekeeping Charge (“the Housekeeping Charge”). We confirm that the Housekeeping Charge will not be any higher than the actual cost which we incur in remedying your failure to comply with your obligations, plus any administrative charges and labour rates we incur in connection with such action and will not exceed £100.

If a Housekeeping Charge is payable, we will contact you after you leave the Property to let you know: (i) why we are charging the Housekeeping Charge, (ii) the amount of the Housekeeping Charge and (iii) how to pay the Housekeeping Charge. Payment of the full Housekeeping Charge is due within 30 days of us contacting you to notify you of the Housekeeping Charge.

2. Law and Jurisdiction

Your contract with us and all matters arising out of it are governed by English law. We both agree that any dispute, claim or other matter which arises out of or in connection with this contract or your itinerary, will be dealt with by the Courts of England and Wales only unless, in the case of Court proceedings, you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland. In this case, proceedings may be brought in the Courts of your home country.

If proceedings are brought in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose to have your contract governed by the law of Scotland/Northern Ireland as applicable. If you do not so choose, English law will apply.
