Graphic treatments and image ‘distression’
Brushes and shapes
The use of distressed areas around images and graphic areas is liberal throughout the Eurocamp brand. However It can be overbearing when used too much - so should just be used to break up the monotomy of grid-like pages. This is best acheived through masking component images to the shapes.
Below you can download the Adobe Illustrator files which include shapes used the production of graphic elements.

You may notice that images across the site have a distressed look to them. This has been done in a very considered way – we don’t overuse these imperfections – they are added with subtlety.
These imperfections add a more organic, liberated feel to the photography, giving a more rough and ready feel to the overall artwork. Photographs can also feature eroded edges using thick brush swatches as illustrated to the left. Ideally, at least one straight edge should remain visible on photographs featuring this effect. Please also use brushes that differentiate Eurocamp from competitors and do not overuse this effect within a single visual area.
