- This camp is suitable for some but unfortunately not for me or my family. Decided to leave 6 days early. Only stayed because the Champions League final was on and it would have taken 2 days to drive home.
The entertainment was absolutely dire. Only karaoke every night. Same kids same songs night after night. The only act that was supposed to be on cancelled so it was then karaoke bingo for 3 hours.
Expect to pay UK prices for your drinks and food. In fact its a bit dearer on camp. The on camp super market is very expensive and not well stocked. Most people have to go to Lidl opposite. Which is fine if you have a car.
The camp itself is lovely. Fantastic pools, the facilites (bars / restaurant) are. ok. One of the pools was closed though.
Staff work hard to keep the camp clean and tidy. Although one night I was sat at the outdoor cinema. It was quiet only about 4 couples. But there was 3 adults and a little girl at one table. Two of the adults at first were rolling their own 'spliffs' and were well stoned. Not really a problem. But that moved on with the female clearly inhaling either crack or heroin - who eventually fell asleep for over an hour or so. There was staff around serving drinks but obviously didn't notice.
Considering its such a huge camp there are no signs and at first difficult to navigate. Until you have found where your accommodation it is difficult to find your way around at first. It took us about half an hour to find our accommodation after asking other campers.
The accommodation was adequate but is nothing like those sparkly video adverts that euro-camp put on their site. They are tired looking. They are stacked very close together, hidden under lots of trees - were there are loads of pigeons and seagulls. No grass on either side of the caravan. Felt hemmed in a bit.
I had a dog with me hence very difficult to use the pools. Thats why I say it suits some but not me.
Overall really nice pools for families, tidy camp but expensive, poor supermarket, and really really bad entertainment at night. Finally the 'welcome' we received was poor, it was a bit - heres the map, heres the key - get on with it. Finally you are asked to bring photographs so they can make up photo id. We were not asked for them - £12 down the drain. As I said it suits some not others.
