Les Embruns d'Oléron

Le Château-d'Oléron, Charente-Maritime, France

A charming island escape with a splashtastic water park and its own stables!

  • Challenge the kids to a water fight at the aquatic play park
  • Saddle up and see the local area from the back of a pony
  • Keep fit with an aquagym session in the pool

Les Embruns d’Oléron is a charmingly authentic parc for nature lovers. It’s set on the enchanting Oléron Island – an oasis of unspoilt coastline, quaint little villages and fragrant pine forests.

Sure, there’s swimming, sports tournaments and beach fun to be had, but we think your outdoor adventures have to start with a pony ride. The on-parc riding centre will saddle you up for a gentle trot in open green fields and along the shoreline, with gentle waves lapping along the water’s edge.

If the little ones still want more excitement, there’s the kids’ club. With games, parties and crafts, they’ll make new friends while you make your way to the restaurant, L’étalon marin. It’s time for that well-deserved drink on the terrace as you ease into an evening of live music, karaoke, cabaret, quizzes and magic shows.

Then it’s back to your private and comfortable holiday home for that contented sleep you only enjoy after a day in the fresh air.
