Aquatic area
Your youngest will enjoy the parc’s sunny paddling pool, while older children (and adults) will love whizzing down the waterslides (one of which is a real monster!) into a bright, large pool complex. There’s also a large covered pool that’s heated for those rare chillier days. Then, when the laps are done, treat yourself to a session in the whirlpool bath and relaxing bubbling benches!

Local area
The pretty Chateau Monbazillac is just 30 minutes from the parc, and sits in 3,500 hectares of vines that produce the area’s dessert wine - a tour in July and August is well worthwhile. Closer to the site is Monflanquin, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, with a square that’s home to a weekly market each Thursday, as it has been since 1256! While the medieval city of Bergerac - just 30km away - is known for its wine, art and history. Youngsters (and parents) who love a traditional, more nostalgic funfair, should head to Le Parc du Bournat. Less than an hour's drive away you'll find authentic rides, games and a small farm.
