At nearby Merlin Plage at St Hilaire is the Atlantic Toboggan water park, very popular with families. Also nearby is the Feeling Forest, an adventure park with assault courses and other attractions suitable for all ages. About 13km away is the town of St Gilles Croix-de-Vie located on the River Vie, a busy port town where popular markets are held every weekend, Tuesday and Thursday.

In the area there are lots of fun activities that are a great ways to see the Vendée. You can explore the beautiful marshlands of the area by hiring a canoe approximately 8 km away at Sallertaine. But if you would prefer to stay on dry land than why not try ‘Velo Rail’? ‘Velo Rail’ provides special push pedal cars so you can discover the area along 10 km of old railway line.
