This parc boasts a really impressive pool complex. Featuring flumes, slides, steam baths and saunas there is something for every water lover.

The pirate ship in the kids' pool will stimulate the young ones whilst the waves in the family pool and the waterchute provide the fun and action. For a bit of relaxation why not head to the sauna (payable), whirlpool or Jacuzzi, where you can really wind down.

With three restaurants, three bars and a takeaway service all on site, there are no shortage of great food and drink options at Südsee-Camp. Whether you're after a quick snack between activities, a leisurely lakeside coffee and cake, a cocktail at the bar or a proper sit-down dinner, the parc has it all.

Expect regional home cooking and seasonal dishes as well as international favourites and dependable children's meals. A varied entertainment programme runs throughout the season, with activities for children, teenagers and adults, including live events, DJ nights and a family programme of shows and competitions.

Take a trip to Soltau Therme for a spot of pampering - here you will find a saltwater pool, outdoor pool, sauna and steam baths in easy reach of the parc. Also in Soltau is its popular Toy Museum. For bird lovers there's Vogelpark just over 30km away - the world's largest birdpark with over 650 species. Heide Park is one of the largest amusement parks in Germany and is an easy drive from the parc.
