Lying just 17 km from the German border and within an hour's drive of Düsseldorf, this parc is ideally placed for exploring both southern Holland and northern Germany. Head south and hop over the border into Belgium, enjoy an meander through the local towns down to Liège, or follow the border north and discover the Dutch town of Arnhem. Set on the banks of the River Rhine, this town is best known as the setting of one of most famous battles of WWII, but it's also home to an excellent zoo and safari park.
