Camping El Garrofer

The pool complex at El Garrofer has been completely renovated for 2022 and now features a waterslide pool; swim through the waterfall into the family pool and splash through the water jets and water bubbles. Sun baked rocks surround the pool, and tall trees in one area provide some welcome shade.

Pride of place at this feel-good parc is La Sinia Restaurant, with its terraces and indoor dining surrounded by beautifully landscaped environments. Enjoy fine Catalan cuisine accompanied by excellent wines. For a more relaxed experience, head to the Chill and Grill restaurant for perfectly cooked steak, or fish. Or why not rent a barbeque at the BBQ zone and show them how it’s done! There’s a further snack bar at the pool, too.

Kids clubs, sports tournaments, basketball, volleyball…your family won’t be short of fun things to spend their time on in this enjoyable parc.

When you're ready for a break from the beach, take the bus or train to fabulous Barcelona - there are around three trains an hour into the city, with the journey taking between 30 and 45 minutes or the bus stops directly outside the parc. Even closer at hand is historic Tarragona, boasting Roman ruins, a lovely old town and even more beaches!

You'll be in beach heaven in nearby Sitges as there are 17 beaches to choose from here! The ones closest to the town centre are the busiest, while those slightly further away will be a bit more secluded.  There are family friendly beaches like the Platja de la Fragata, as well as two main nudist beaches (Platja d'Aiguadolç and Platja dels Balmains). Platja de les Anquines beach is the nearest to El Garrofer (2km), set in a cove, it is a good option if you are looking for some peace and quiet.
