Check-out Tasks

We take pride in the accommodation we make available to our customers and we ask that you kindly look after it and treat it as your own home whilst it’s in your hands. 

To support this we ask you to perform specific tasks before you vacate your accommodation.  The tasks that you are required to complete before check out varies by destination and accommodation type.

In addition to this on parc teams will inspect every accommodation after each check-out and perform thorough top-up cleaning to ensure everything is spotless and sanitary for the next guests.

Upon arrival, if you think your accommodation needs more preparation, please inform our team on parc immediately.

When cleaning not included or paid for as an extra service

Before you leave your holiday home please ...

Clean up

1. Wash and put away dishes (empty dishwasher if equipped)

2. Wipe clean the worktops and shelves, microwave, hob and oven. Clean the griddle/BBQ and coffee pot

3. Empty, defrost and clean the refrigerator

4. Wipe tables, chairs and seat cushions

5. Clean shower, toilet and washbasin

6. Ensure all cupboards and drawers are empty and wipe clean

Prepare bedding

1. Remove rented linen and place in a pillowcase near the entrance. Put towels and any wet linen on the floor

2. Shake out and fold duvets on beds. Do not remove plastic covers from mattresses or pillows

Tidy the space

1. Empty all bins and take rubbish/recycling to designated areas

2. Leave no litter inside or outside

3. Sweep and mop all floors

Final checks

1. Close all windows

2. Remove all food from cupboards

3. Check cupboards, drawers, and under beds for belongings.
